Asian Workshop on Sensing and Visualization of City-Human Interaction
(AWSVCI 2009) will be held in Peking University, Beijing, China, August 27, 2009. We invite researchers, practitioners, educators and students, and others interested in City-Human Interaction. This workshop aims to present the state-of-the-art research contributions that address the various aspects of Sensing and
Visualization of City-Human Interaction. We also aim to promote the understanding among players, and stimulate interaction between participants through them.
AWSVCI 2009 focuses on the emerging area of City-Human Interactions. This emergence is an outcome of the rapid evolution in smart appliances and devices, as well as tremendous advances in wireless sensor networks and ubiquitous computing.
Areas of interest include, but not limited to:

  - Enabling Technologies for City-Human Interaction
  - Infrastructure for City-Human Interaction
  - Portable Devices and Wearable Computers for City-Human Interaction
  - Wireless Networks, Home Network and Ubiquitous Networks
  - Smart Sensors and Sensor Networks
  - Security and Privacy for City-Human Interaction
  - Social Implications of Urban Sensing and Visualization
  - Location-dependent and Context-aware Computing
  - City-Human Interaction in Ubiquitous Computing
